the basics
character name ; Theiry Lennox Moreau
nickname; Len though Theiry doesn’t often respond to nicknames
age ; 35
date of birth ; September 16, 1974
blood status; Pure
sexual orientation ; Theiry is mostly straight however isn’t entirely opposed to male attention especially if they don’t want to give it.
wand ; 13 and 3/4 inch Willow wand with phoenix tears core.
affiliation ; Death Eater
occupation ; Professional Stylist to the rich and famous.
the appearance
height & weight ; Theiry is a large man through and through. He is 6'5 and does have a tendency to tower over many people. Thanks to his height he seems much skinnier than he should. He weighs a solid 210 but he doesn't look it. His frame is lean, but fairly well muscled. He is a man who obviously takes care of himself.
hair ; Theiry's hair is naturally blonde. He has had darker highlights mixed in. He keeps his hair carefully clipped to a modern length that is still fairly simple to take care of. His hair is naturally very fine and has an almost feathery soft texture.
eyes ; Theiry's eyes are nothing to write home about. They are a simple hazel color. Occasionally they can seem more green or brown given what he is wearing. The most notable thing about his eyes is that they tend to always have the same semi amused expression to them, a slight twinkle that says he finds the whole world to be funny. This isn’t a genuine look, but it’s the expression he uses the most often.
facial features ; Theiry has a very masculine face. His nose is a bit on the large side, but it’s not too noticeable. He has light barely noticeable eyebrows and a pronounced forehead. His face tends to the lean side. He also has rather thin lips that always seemed to be pulled into a smirk.
distinguishing features ; For the most part Theiry's skin is mostly unflawed. The large and obvious exception to this are his hands. His hands are peppered with scars thanks to his sister. The most prominent of these scars is a very vivid and clearly defined set of human teeth marks. These are courtesy of his sister and an unwise customer’s telling Minna to “Bite Me.”
style ; Theiry is not an overly vain man, but he does feel the personal presentation is important. After all the world rarely ever sees beyond one's skin and clothes. So he isn't obsessed with style, but since he makes his living being a stylist and fashion consultant he has to seem stylish. He is known for his business casual look and he will rarely be seen in something that wasn't tailored to fit him. He also tends to stick to the more modern look and will almost never be caught in old fashioned Wizarding Robes.
play by ; Alexander Skarsgard
the personality
likes ;
FINE THINGS Theiry isn't spoiled nor is he especially materialistic, but he is still quite capable of enjoying the finer things in life. He works hard and feels that if he didn't enjoy the perks there would be no reason to work so hard. He is especially a fan of gourmet food and silk sheets. The better the quality the more enjoyable the experience. He can live without the trappings however to truly be satisfied the finer things are required.
POWER Theiry is a man who likes to be in charge. He doesn't have to be the very top man on the totem pole, but he definitely likes being able to snap his fingers and make others jump. He especially likes lording his power over those who will never have power. He is one of the few Death Eaters that doesn't necessarily believe in extermination mostly because he'd vastly enjoy enslaving the muggles like house elves.
FORCE In his day to day life Theiry tends to carry himself off as a gentleman. One who is fairly polite and well mannered. Many of the people who know him would be surprised just how much he likes force. There are very few things that excites him like making someone do something they don't want to do. Occasionally it can be a sexual thing, but he gets the same thrill from making someone do a chore they don't want to do, or to give up something don't wish to. It's all the same and it's all very intoxicating.
DISCIPLINE And no this doesn't mean the kinky kind. Well he wouldn't be entirely against the idea, but we are talking personal discipline. Being in control of himself is more something he needs than something he likes, but it's rather important to him. One is nothing if not in control of oneself. This discipline is implied to almost every aspect of his life. He runs both his business and home with the same discipline there is only one right way to do things and everything in his environment will be done right.
WOMEN Theiry is definitely a big fan of the ladies. He likes just about everything about women. Well classy women anyways. The way they smell, the way they move, the way their bodies are formed it's all good in Theiry's opinion. There is very little he enjoys more than taking a beautiful piece of arm candy to a nice gourmet restaurant. Of course with women he has high standards. He likes the fine things and women are no exception to this rule.
dislikes ;
WEAK PEOPLE Theiry has no patience for people who are too weak to control themselves. This of course is a lot of people. He doesn't like fat people because obviously they don't have the will power to say no to food, he doesn't like physically weak people, because they obviously don't have the strength to make themselves exercise. He doesn't like stupid people, because they obviously don't have the ability to make themselves study to improve themselves. He considers the ugly to be lazy, because if they are ugly they obviously haven't put in any effort to fix themselves. The only people he doesn't judge for weakness are the ill and that's only the people who didn't get themselves sick through stupidity.
EMBARASSMENT Theiry enjoys being in control, he enjoys being seen as an important man. So it goes without saying that he absolutely hates when someone does or says something that embarrasses him. He has absolutely no tolerance for it and any person that embarrasses him in any manner or shape will pay dearly for that mistake. Any person that embarsses him or even attempts to will not be forgiven and he will exact revenge quickly, painfully, and with lots of interest.
MUGGLE TECHNOLOGY Theiry has no issues with muggles having their little toys. Technology is after all the only way they can cope without magic. However Theiry hates to see muggle technology in the wizarding world. Those little boxes he sees so called wizards running around with, or the telewhatever in some wizards homes it is all a disgrace. Who needs muggle technology when one has a wand? The only muggle item Theiry is known to tolerate is of course the clothing and only because muggle clothing is so much more modern and robes are often in the way.
NO If there is one word Theiry would ban from being spoken in his presence it's the word no. No matter how you say it he absolutely hates being denied anything he wishes. The word no will almost always inevitably upset him. He may not have a fit immediately, but he doesn't forget easily and he rarely forgives. Ironically he gets more mad about the little things rather than the big things, because he feels when it comes to unimportant things people say no just to upset him.
CHEAP Being a man who enjoys the finer things in life he doesn't much like cheaply made things. Quality is an important thing and anything that is of poor quality is worth very little in his eyes. This dislike also extends to cheap people, what is the use of purchasing anything if your going to buy garbage. One might as well simply search through a landfill. He especially hates being gifted cheap things. Not only is it useless to give him cheap gifts, but he sees it as an insult.
strengths ;
SURVIVOR Theiry is simply one of those people who has a great will to live. He is exactly the sort who can face the worst sort of disaster and still manage to do whatever necessary to survive. When it comes to his own survival there is no moral too important, no taboo to horrid, no act too disgusting to keep him from what he needs to do to live. He's exactly the sort of person who would become a cannibal if there was nothing else to eat and he would never loose any sleep over it.
REALISTIC Illusion just isn't something Theiry has any time for. He is an extremely realistic man one who will face facts and react accordingly. He won't let little things like optimism and hope trick him into anything. He is also extremely aware of exactly what sort of man he is and doesn't try to fool himself into justifying his behavior. This also means that he is aware of his strengths and weaknesses and knows how to compensate for one and use the other.
SUPERB MEMORY Theiry is not nor has he ever been a genius, but he has always had a gifted memory. His memory is nearly perfect. He will remember just about everything he reads. He will never ever forget a face. This helps him in many ways, he's never lost because he has memorized all the important maps. He's very hard to follow because he will recognize any familiar faces.
HIS SISTER Minna is a complicated situation, but there is no doubt that she is undeniably valuable. She in fact makes him a great deal of money since he allows her to indulge in her darker urges for the right money. He uses her violence and gift for the gory and terrifying by selling her talents to those willing to pay to make sure their enemies suffer a horrid end. It also doesn’t hurt that she makes an excellent attack dog. He almost feels pity for anyone stupid enough to try to harm him or his home as he’s already given her permission to have fun with anyone who does these things. Of course at the moment she's not entirely useful as she had a little incident and is stuck in St. Mungo's for the foreseeable future.
weaknesses ;
TEMPER Without a doubt one of Theiry's biggest weaknesses is his temper. It isn't an issue to often as he is fairly good at maintaining his temper. However when the right buttons are pushed he is fairly incapable of thought and will only act. And inevitably when he acts it's always violently and it's never pretty. This of course is an issue because when he loses control of his temper he is likely to wind up in Azkaban.
CHAVAUNIST Theiry enjoys women. Likes almost everything about them. He even to a degree respects them. He would after all never take a woman against her will well not usually, but despite all this Theiry doesn't expect much out of women. He usually treats them well, but he will always see them as the weaker species. Women are meant to be pretty and make children. They are not meant to be much of anything else. This of course leads him to underestimate women which can occasionally get him in trouble.
UBERINDEPENDANT Theiry is a man who feels he is strong and capable and therefore needs no help. There is nothing he hates more than admitting himself incapable. This means he will almost never ask for help no matter how much he might need it. He could be seriously injured, lost, sick, and starving and he would not ask for help. There is only one person he will willingly ask for assistance and that is his sister. This of course leaves him at a disadvantage as if he did ever manage to get into something he couldn't handle he is still unlikely to ask for help.
HIS SISTER His sister makes him a lot of money and is one of the best defense systems ever known, but she definitely has drawbacks. One realizes that when you have to run around at the dead of night cleaning up the bloody literally so messes that your sister has made. Her lack of self control can at time be very frustrating, but it’s mostly the fact that more than likely one day she’ll do something that he won’t be able to cover up and either she or both of them will wind up in Azkaban. He has of course decided the benefits are worth the risks, but the possibility is still very real to him. This isn't helped by the fact that she has indeed landed her self in the mental ward of St. Mungo's
boggart ; Losing his sister. She is the most difficult issue in his life, but family at least what is left of it is very important to him.
amortentia ; Galleons, new silk, and Caviar
erised ; To effect the world. He doesn’t want to be in charge or anything, because the world as it is is a fucking mess, but he definitely wants to mold the world and the way people live in it. He wants this, because he doesn’t want to be forgotten when he finally dies.
veritaserum ; That he has been covering up for his sisters murderous habits since he was twelve years old.
dementor ; Theiry's worst memory is from the day he discovered his parent's dead bodies. Surprisingly enough the bodies are not his fear, but rather later on in the day when he and his sister were separated for questioning. He was absolutely terrified that his sister would get caught and he would lose the last little shred of family that he had left.
patronus ; Theiry has never been able to produce more than a fine silver mist when casting the patronus charm, but if he could it would take the form of a crocodile. His best memory is the day he got away with covering his sisters tracks when she killed their parents. He felt very accomplished.
personality ; Theiry is if nothing else a practical man. He isn't the sort who is concerned with little things like morals and rules. He is not necessarily an evil person, but he is willing to do whatever it takes to get exactly what he wants. He likes money and wants money so he see's no problem using his sister as an assassin. He sees it as a way that his disturbed sister can vent some of her darker urges for gain so it is a win win situation for all. He is also ruthlessly and violently practical. This is the sort of man who doesn’t blink even when he is cleaning up after his sister’s ‘fun time’ in fact instead of being terrified like most people would be he sees money and power even as he’s severing the victims fingers and head to render them unidentifiable. He is obviously not a man who is afraid of violence. He would personally choose to avoid violence if possible as violence is only profitable when carefully orchestrated, but he will not shirk from it if it is necessary. Thanks largely to his sister he has grown very tolerant of violence.
Surprisingly enough Theiry is not an entirely cold person. He can be ruthlessly even heartlessly practical, but he is still capable of emotion he just tends to ignore those emotions unless they are useful at the moment. He can be a caring and generous man one who people would probably be quite shocked to see what exactly he could be capable of. He has money and is known to be charitable with it. He is known to be a philanthropist and while this is partly fueled by his brutal practicality he still enjoys sharing what he has. Yes it does make him look good, yes it does give him contacts he may not have had before, but it’s about a little more than that. His favorite cause is children he is a known supporter of orphanages. Having been one he knows they need all the help they can get. He is also one known to give gifts this is a habit he learned from his sister. She can’t understand emotions, but he believes that she at least somewhat understands that he cares for her, because he gives her things.
He is also rather family orientated. He now only has a very small family, but it is very important to him and it has been since he was a little boy. His sister is arguably evil and responsible for the worst time in his entire life, but she’s all he has left and that’s more important than the little details like the fact that she is the reason that she is all he has left. He likes to pretend that he is more important than the little bit of family he has left. And even plans carefully so that if they ever get caught she is the only one who will go down, but in his heart of hearts he knows he probably wouldn’t be able to use his sister like a sacrificial lamb. Yes he’ll use her to make money, yes he’d use her to get rid of an enemy, but he is unlikely to ever do anything that would make her go away permanently.
Theiry is also a fairly hands on guy that rarely delegates. His business employs a few people, but mostly he prefers to do everything for himself. He has a girl who books appointments and such, but that’s about the only thing he let’s someone else handle. The only other person he lets mess with his affairs is his sister and that’s only because honestly she’s incapable of working in a regular environment. And even though his sister works with him usually he won’t have her do much more than nod her head in agreement and occasionally carry a box. The only activity he regularly regulates to his sister is of course the wet work of their darker occupation.
Theiry is fortunately for himself and his sister a very good liar. It is something that comes naturally to him. Lies are easy for him to create and thanks to his nearly perfect memory he is unlikely to ever slip up on the details of his lies. If he says he was in a local bar with a blond friend on a certain night we will always remember exactly what he claimed. Despite the fact that he is actually a pretty good liar, Theiry will only lie when it's necessary. He believes that no matter how accomplished one is at lying if one has a million lies floating about one will inevitably get caught at least one of your lies. So Theiry will only provide a lie when it's vitally important.
Theiry also is a fairly amiable man. Well at least on the surface. He can get along with just about anyone, mostly because he is rarely sincere with people. He tends to treat just about everyone civilly. After all being seen as a rude lout hardly gets one anywhere. Of course while he's being just as polite as possible he's probably thinking how deplorable your shoes are and how you look like a street urchin, but usually he'll give no sign of this. So Theiry is definitely a bit two faced.
the school life
school attended ; Hogwarts
former house ; Slytherin
favourite subject ; History of Magic was always Theiry’s favorite subject. Thanks to his memory it was very easy and he feels that knowing ones history well allows you to manipulate the future.
worst subject ; Without a doubt Astronomy was his least favorite class. Not only did the class take up his social time, but it was also a complete waste of time. There is nothing practical about the stars.

history ; Theiry was born on a normal September day. He was brought into his world, at his parent's estate by a midwife thanks to his father's insistence that St. Mungo's was only staffed by incompetents and filth. He was raised by governesses and nannies. When he was a few months from being a year old his parents brought his sister Minna into the world. Both children were raised together. As soon as they were old enough both children where quickly introduced to a slew of tutors and instructors. Their studies were mainly focused on etiquette and decorum as their parents felt they would be properly educated in magic once they reached Hogwarts.
Their childhood was fairly quiet except for the fact that they seemed to go through many more tutors and nannies than usual. It wasn't until Theiry was much older that he realized that the staff kept quitting, because of his sister and her odd behavior. It wouldn't be until he got to Hogwarts that Theiry would understand that his sister's personality wasn't exactly average. Thanks to his parents and their tendency to keep he and his sister isolated within their estate Theiry had no idea that his sister was different. He had always thought that trying to stab one's governesses with a quill was quite usual. Of course the most memorable event was when Theiry watched Minna chase their Latin Tutor from the study room and into the grounds with a pair of scissors.
When Theiry turned twelve and Minna turned eleven they both received their Hogwarts letters. There was a lot of talk about if they really should go. For a long time it seemed that they would be opting out of Hogwarts. Theiry was fairly sure this was because of his sister. However just before September first Theiry’s parents decided they would both attend Hogwarts. Theiry assumed that this decision was reached only because it would look very poorly on them if their children didn't attend Hogwarts. So they were packed up and sent off the Hogwarts Theiry with about a hundred reminders to keep an eye on his sister and to not let her do anything that would make them look bad.
With that in mind Theiry started his first year at Hogwarts. Upon arriving at Hogwarts he was quickly sorted into Slytherin where the sorting hat commented on his already large sense of ambition. The first half of the year went fairly quiet and Theiry quickly adjusted to the social atmosphere like a duck to water. He even dealt with his sister fairly well. He managed to keep her from hurting anyone for most of the year, though people still thought she was odd despite his attempts to help her blend in. Things remained quiet until they returned home for Christmas break. Theiry was quiet pleased with himself and how well he had fulfilled his role as a student and keeper of his sister. He remained satisfied until a few days before they were to return to Hogwarts.
The night before he had gone to bed again still happy with himself, but when he awoke he would find that his entire world would change. At first it seemed a perfectly ordinary day. He arose ate his breakfast alone as usual. It wasn't until later in the morning when Theiry realized he hadn't see Minna anywhere that he began to worry. He found his sister in his parents room which of course was a room neither of them were allowed in. At first Theiry thought that his sister was simply being herself moving around in her own little world that simply didn't have room to pay attention to little things like the rules. But when Theiry entered the room to remove his sister from the room only to find that Minna wasn't alone.
His parents were both in the room his father was laying almost as if he were sleeping the only sign of distress was the pool of blood and the single violent slash across his throat. His mother lay sprawled on the floor with a terrified expression on her face her body mutilated by many many stab wounds. It was only then that Theiry noticed exactly what condition his sister was in. She was covered in blood sitting crossed legged against the wall humming to herself almost happily as she cradled a rather large kitchen knife. For a long time Theiry sat there unable to do anything. He couldn't scream, couldn't cry, couldn't run all he could do was stand there and stare at what his sister had done. Only one thought whirled through his mind at the time. His parent's death was his fault he had failed to control his sister and his parents had died because of this.
They sat there for a long time until Theiry finally managed to process the fact that they had to do something. And just as he knew he had to do something he also knew he had to make sure his sister didn't get locked up for this. It was after all his fault more than hers and she was after all the only family he had left. So he did the only thing he could think to do. He got his sister up and into the bathroom cleaning her up and doing the same with the knife she had used. Then he spent a whole hour coaching his sister on what to say. It was simple she didn't feel good and she had been sleeping. Completely unforgettable and largely impossible to prove not true unless she slipped up.
Once he got his sister schooled in what to say and installed in her bed he went back to his parents room and began screaming bloody murder. It seemed to be only the blink of an eye before the MLE was swarming Theiry's home. Everyone was quickly separated and questioned. Theiry kept to his simple story that he had gone looking for his parents only to find them dead alone in their room. The tears and the fear were easy things to show to the questioning officials. Amazingly enough they managed to get away with it mostly because Theiry was sure no one wanted to believe an eleven year old girl could commit such an act. The case would remain unsolved.
Theiry and Minna were placed in an orphanage. The pair remained out of Hogwarts for a month as they saw therapists and counselors. Of course this never really helped either of them because Theiry would never tell the truth and Minna simply said the words that Theiry spent hours teaching her to recite. Most of the pairs time was spent isolated in a room of the new orphanage teaching Minna exactly how to react when the therapists talked to her. Theiry put all his energy and effort into it which made it easier for him to ignore what had been done. By the time the therapist were done and the pair was left on their own Theiry had managed to distance himself from the horror of the event. It became his job to protect his sister so he in effect became his sister's keeper.
After a month the pair returned to Hogwarts Theiry and Minna both carefully played the part of grieving children. Theiry was of course better at playing the part, but he was quick to blame Minna's sometimes odd behavior on her own grief. It was of course an entire lie as the girl didn't miss her parents or regret what she had done, but it kept people from getting too suspicious. The rest of their school year went quietly. During the summer they returned to the orphanage as they would every summer for the next six years. Theiry played the part of the well behaved charming and generally liked boy while Minna was just considered a little bit odd, but harmless.
Thanks to Theiry's efforts the pair of them made it through Hogwarts with only a few incidents that Theiry had to take care of. They left Hogwarts and finally moved into the estate that had been left to the pair of them by their parents. Being a goal orientated young man Theiry already knew exactly what he planned to be. He knew he had to have a career where he could keep a close eye on his sister which ruled out working for the ministry or for that fact any career that didn't have flexible hours. So Theiry decided to go with something he had always been good at, but wasn't necessarily thought of as a wizarding occupation. All he had to do was learn to style hair which he had been doing for his sister since she was twelve and pretend to be an expert in fashion which again wasn't hard since all that took was a little research. Fortunately being practically the only Wizard Stylist meant that he had a practical monopoly on the market and his business took off quickly.
Theiry wasn't in the least bit surprised. He knew just how many people were desperate to be beautiful. Of course in the beginning his business was mostly older desperate for company single pureblood women who employed him mostly to have a handsome young man near them. However over time Theiry became a name associated with the right image and he began having a real influence on the fashion world, well at least the Wizarding part of it. Theiry’s business was going well and they definitely weren’t having money issues so Theiry was for the most part content, but as usual things had to change thanks to his sister and her issues. The business was going rather splendidly and Theiry had just begun being a style consultant for Witch Weekly when he began to notice that his sister who usually responded fairly well to his orders and instructions was slipping. As his sister became more and more easily provoked by even the most innocent of comments and Theiry began to find the corpses of multiple mutilated animals Theiry knew he had to do something.
At first Theiry had no idea what to do and he began to fear that it was only a matter of time before his sister did something that wouldn’t go unnoticed. And just as Theiry began to be certain he would loose Minna to her own insanity and Azkaban another problem developed. Theiry’s business had begun to suffer thanks to a young woman who was trying to horn in on Theiry’s business. Just as things seemed to be able to get no worse it did. Thanks to the stress of dealing with bad business and his sister Theiry’s tongue had been a little looser than usual. Usually he was very careful to keep his thoughts to himself as he felt no need to overload Minna’s already fragile peace of mind with his own worries. But for once he vocalized how the woman was going to ruin him and his business.
A few days later Theiry came home to discover the woman dead in his bed. The corpse was evidently a gift from his sister. For a moment Theiry was at loss on what to do, but he knew two things. One he would not allow his sister to be taken from him and secondly the corpse could not be found in their home. The chance of them getting away with it twice was very small. So completely uncertain of his actions Theiry took the body and removed it from the house burying it in the woods a good distance from their own home. Then he spent the rest of the night scrubbing the house top to bottom and burning all the materials in his room that could have the woman's blood on it. The next few days Theiry spent anxiously waiting for the MLE to knock on his door, but miraculously they never came despite the fact that the woman's disappearance was in all the papers.
When the authorities never came to throw them both into Azkaban Theiry relaxed enough to realize that his sister seemed to be much more controllable after the murder. It didn't take him long after that to realize that his sister was much more capable of controlling herself and her urges when she occasionally vented them. It was then that Theiry began to realize that his families great weakness could also be an asset. The murder had at first seemed to be the worst thing that could possibly happen, but when all was said and done neither him nor his sister was taken into custody, his business returned to it's prior success before the woman's interference, and his sister seemed better for it, so it was in all a win win situation. These thoughts would eventually lead to Theiry using his sisters murderous urges for their own advancement. It didn't take the man long to go from benefiting from one woman's death to benefiting from a semi regular and very lucrative business. He and his sister would also become involved with the Death Eaters doing the ocassional job for them.
Once Theiry made this discovery he and his sisters life has gone fairly smoothly. He has firmly established himself as one of the best stylist, he has become known as the man to come to if one has an issue that must be dealt with, and his sister for the most part has learned fairly well to play the part of the normal citizen. There are of course always a few little bumps in her behavior that he must smooth over, but he's become quite the expert in this. Enough so that to most of the world he and his sister seem quite normal and even harmless. Or at least it had for a little while. Unfortunately the business of death wasn't always at high demands so there weren't a many tasks for Minna as the woman would prefer. Theiry was very set upon Minna only using her 'skills' for the right price so he held her back.
This was a mistake as after a few months of no release for her she once again became reluctant to listen to him. This behavior culminated in her attacking his receptionist and tearing the woman's ear off. This of course was a disaster, but Theiry was fortunately able to do a little damage control and convinced his recoptionist to admit to starting the confrontation. It cost him quite a bit, but when the dust settled his sister was admitted to St. Mungo's and no formal charges were pressed. St. Mungo's is of course not much better than Azkaban, but at least eventually Theiry will have a chance to get his sister released. He visits her nearly every day and continues to coach her on how to behave to get out. His sister is crazy, but fortunately for them and perhaps less so for the world Minna is a smart girl who realizes she has to get out before she can have anymore real fun so she is indeed motivated.
