the appearance
height & weight ; Faust is most defintely not a fragile man. He's not super duper tall, but he's just a tad over six feet. Though thanks to his choice of footwear he often looks taller. His frame is fairly average, not too thick not too thin. He weighs in at 174 pounds. He is not overly muscled, but he's not all skin and bones either. It's obvious that while he's not a workout nut he still takes care of himself.
hair ; The man's hair is probably one of the most noticeable things about him. It is cerainly attention grabbing. Naturally it is a very dark black. Not so naturally Faust often enjoys adding blue highlights to his hair to make it stand out. He also likes to expriment with the style and is often seen in many widely diverese hair styles. One day he can have his hair spiked up into six inch spikes and the next he may just let it lay down.
eyes ; Faust has very pretty eyes. Next to his hair they are the most noticeable things as they are a rather unique greyish blue. His eyes are often empasized by large amounts of eyeliner and even sometimes eye shadow. His eyes are best known for the fact that they always seem to be twinkling in a mischevious sort of way.
facial features ; Faust thanks to a beautiful genepool is in fact a very pretty man. He isn't drop dead georgeous, but he has a very appealing face. That can at times seem rather feminine. He does have a sizeable nose, but it simply works for him. The best thing about his face other than his eyes and his creamy almost perfect skin are his lips. His lips straddle that line between feminine and masculine. They are full and very nicely shaped and are almost always twisted into some sort of smile.
distinguishing features ; Faust can lay claim to a handfull of distingiushing features. The first and most noticeable ones are of course his piercings. He has each ear pierced three times. Then less noticeably he has his nipples pierced. He also has a large scar across his left shin thanks to a childhood accident involving a broom, a tree, and a cat.
style ; Faust Style is in a word outrageous. While he doesn't often wear many colors other than black his style tends to turn heads. He likes clothes that shock people. He's known to wear a lot of leather and jackets with all sorta of odd attachments. He's especially fond of platform boots. He does on occasion liven up his wardrobe with some more feminine items like pants that really were meant for women or adding lots of jewlery to his ensemble.
play by ; Adam Lambert
the personality
likes ;
LOVE When Faust talks love he means the whole kit and kaboodle. He likes it all whether it's physical love or the I'd die for you sort of emotional love. Ok so he is a little more partial to the physical sort of love, but he's very fond of the emotional love too. He certainly isn't the sort to ever be a one person sort of guy, but he loves to fall in love and stay that way you know as long as it doesn't get all stalkerish and scary. He beleives that the world can use all the love it can get even if it's a fickle sort of love.
FUN Life is for living and one can't live without fun. Faust has a habit of trying to make even the most tedious of tasks fun and will rarely do anything he doesn't find some sort of amusement in. This makes his seem immature to many people, but Faust just finds that amusing as well. He feels enjoyment is integral to a healthy life. He especially enjoys pyhsical kinds of fun and he doesn't mean just sexual. He enjoys even simple things like a game or tag or hide and seek. Many people think this behavior childish, but Faust is content with that and says it keeps him in shape.
ARTISTIC EXPRESSION Faust is not really much of an artist. He can barely color in the lines, he's defintely no poet or great writer, he does like to sing, but he isn't particularly good at it. However Faust is very fond of his own and anyone else's artisic expression. Of course for him aritistic expression is simply living life just as boldly and colorfully as he wants to. His most common form of expression is of course his clothing which while mostly black or grey are still most certainly unique.
DRAMA Faust is without a doubt a drama king. He takes great pleasure in taking a little thing and blowing it up to be a much bigger issue. He is absolutely shameless about it and is practically expected to have at least one drama moment a day if not more. He finds it amusing and as long as no one gets hurt he doesn't see any reason not to. He also enjoys the attention it gains him.
ICE CREAM This one is of course one of his simplest pleasures. He absolutely loves ice cream in it's many flavors. He likes the chilly cold he even likes the brain freeze it often gives him. The fact that it comes in ever changing flavors is just another bonus. He is well known at most ice cream shops in his area as he refuses to buy that ridicilous boxed ice cream one gets at the grocery store. Real ice cream comes out of giant drums that are housed in glass fronted freezers.
dislikes ;
PERSONAL DRAMA Faust likes drama. He likes causing it and he loves just watching it. However his own life or at least the important bits of it is something he likes to keep moving on peacefully. He is a carefree sort of guy who really didn't make much room for any real drama. Sure blown up out of porportion issues are just fine, but real drama any problem that's a problem without any help is something Faust just doesn't like at all.
PARTY POOPERS Everybody love a good party right? And who doesn't like to have a good time? It's a sad fact to Faust that there are always inevitably people who just don't want to have a good time and there for have an ingrained need to ruin it for everyone else. He hates when someone spoils the fun no matter how good of a reason they have. He is known to get quite grumpy when someone calls a halt to whatever enjoyment he is curently enjoying.
SLACKERS Life is a jolly old trip to Faust. Everything is fun and he refuses to do anything he can't make enjoyable. However that doesn't mean there is any excuse to be a slacker. If one is to party hard one must defintely work hard before hand. You definitely have to make the work enjoyable, but you can't do things half assed as that will cut into later enjoyment in a negative way. He is very emphatic that people not slack off and they carry their own weight whether it be at work, in the sack, or any other situation.
BIGOTS Being a pureblood from an older family surrounded by stiffies who are determined to drain every bit of fun out of everything Faust is very used to bigots. Being an openly flamboyant and extremely lively man makes him a target for a lot of bigots whether they don't like blood traitors or whether they don't like men who wear crazy clothes, or a man who's willing to share his love with just about anyone man or woman. He's used to them and he knows they'll never really go away, but that doesn't mean he approves of them. He beleives bigotted people are one of the biggest issues with the world and that if everyone could just live and let live everything would be better.
DON'T JUDGE ME LESS THEE BE JUDGED Faust is a man who lives his life exactly the way he wants to. He does so with great abandon and very little thought to what other people think is proper. He enjoys living this way, but he does not enjoy when people judge him and make assumptions just because he acts the way he does. He is for the most part careful that his actions don't hurt other people and since he does this he feels that people should just let him be. If he's not hurting anyone what harm could he be doing?
strengths ;
COMFORTABLE There are a lot of people who wouldn't think being comfortable as much of a strength, but with Faust it most certainly is. Faust is first and foremost very comfortable in his own skin. He knows exactly who and what he is and this gives him a great amount of confidence and the strength to ignore all the haters in the world. It also makes him very sure of any and all decisions he makes. This comfort also makes him fairly impossible to insult which helps cut down on confrontations.
OPEN MINDED Without a doubt Faust is a very open minded man. He's not one to judge people very harshly since he strongly beleives in live and let live. This open mindedness makes him capable of befriending or in his own way loving just about anyone that will let him. He's very accepting you can be black, white, red, yellow, purple, or green he doesn't care. Being a freak, dork, prep, or even criminal wouldn't make him bat his eyelashes. He's willing to take people for who they are rather than what they have been labeled. This he feels is a strength because it lets him get to know and get close to a lot of great people that most people would never give a chance.
FIGHTER A lot of people see Faust and his questionable style and feminine leanings and assume that he's soft and of no threat, but really Faust is a hell of a fighter. One doesn't grow up as a freak in the pureblood community without learning how to handle more than your fair share of fights and even attacks. He won't fight unless someone forces his hand, but he is defintely handy with his wand and can even fist fight thanks to his tendency to love on just about anyone including wives and sisters of very big men.
weaknesses ;
IMPULSIVE Faust is an easy going man one who tends to coast through life without too much thought. He enjoys his life and to do so does exactly what he enjoys. Which means he's not to much into thinking about things like consequences and silly things like that. It's not that he thinks he's above consequences, but he simply doesn't think that far as he makes decisions. To him it makes perfect sense to see a pretty woman and take her directly to bed. He doesn't consider the fact that said woman might have a very big and very mean husband who'll object. This of course causes a lot of drama in his life.
EMOTIONALLY THICK Love comes easy to Faust as does just about anything involving fun. However for all his fun loving and even general gentleness he has the emotional range of a brick wall and is extremely bad at recognizing and dealing with people's moods unless they are happy. He has an even harder time understanding that his behaviors effect people. He thinks he's just having a good time and it never quite gets through his head why a woman or man may not be happy with a one night stand. Or why so many people get upset when they wake up the next morning to an empty bed.
FOOT IN MOUTH DISEASE Being a man who doesn't think far ahead Faust often has trouble when he says things he probably shouldn't. He's the sort of man you don't ask for an opinion unless your ready for absolute honesty. He is for the most part fairly tactless. If he realizes a situation is a bit sticky he will make himself think before he speaks, but since he rarely realizes the emotional atmosphere of any sitaution he is known to say some really inappropriate things without even realizing he was doing so.
boggart ; Faust is extremely afraid of Goblins. He feels horrible for fearing them as he knows it's sorta bigotted and that not all goblins can be flesh eating monsters, but he still fears them in a big way. This fear sprouts from the first time he visited Gringotts with his family. Though the Goblins did nothing but stare at him from their high desks they still made Faust feel uber creeped out and certain that they were just waiting for an excuse to spring on him and gobble him up.
amortentia ; Leather, sweat, pumpkin spice, and vanilla frosting.
erised ; Faust is a simple man who really wants nothing more than to live his life happily without other people judging him.
veritaserum ; what is your character's deepest secret?
dementor ; what is your character's worst memory?
patronus ; Faust's Patronus takes on the form or a male Peacock.
personality ; Like most people it would be nearly impossible to describe Faust with just one word. However if one had to try the first and probably best word to describe Faust is simple. Of course most people see Faust and his outlandish style of dress and his exageratted behavior and would assume he is anything, but simple. However Faust for all apperances is very undemanding and needs very little to get by. There is very little he wants out of life other than a good time and his freedom. He doesn't expect much out of the world or people and is content to make do with whatever he has.
He is also a definte glass half full sort of person. Well more like let's just refill the glass sort of guy. He's defintely positive and while he's not compltely delusional and is aware of the state of the world and that bad things are going on it's still hard to kill his enthusiasm for life. This can at time make him seem a little callous as he can often be one of the few cheerful people in a room full of mourners. He isn't completely cold hearted he does see when other people are less than happy, but he naturally always manages to find the silver lining to every disaster and he would much rather focus on that rather than the bad stuff that's going on.
Faust is usually fairly easy to get along with assuming that you give him a chance. He doesn't get along with every person in the world in fact thanks to his rather flamboyant behavior there are plenty of people that don't like him, but unless they actively harass him he's more than happy to leave them in peace. He feels no need to prove any sort of point or start any sort of trouble as long as those people are willing to just let him live his life. However to those that give him a chance he is very friendly sometimes a little too friendly, but he's more than willing to live in bounds of each individuals personal comfort zone. There are some people he considers friends that sex and friend ship are barely discernable then he has friends that he barely shakes hands with because that is what they are comfortable with.
A lot of people see him and like to think pushy, but really he's pretty good at honoring people's limits. Of course with that said he's still known to be pretty flirty and maybe a bit familar with just about anyone that will let him. It is pretty much second nature with him. Love is also something that comes very naturally to him. Sometimes love just means physcial love, some times it means a deep emotional connection, and sometimes it's just a very good friendship, but Faust is the sort of guy that falls in love very easily even if his defintion of love is a bit fluid. He is also one of the rare guys who is very comfortable saying the words I love you. Even more remarkably he will mean it every time he says it.
Faust is also fairly in touch with his own emotions. He feels no shame in any of his emotions. He is usually a cheerful guy, but when he does feel sad he has no issue crying. When he's angry he has no issue venting. He is in fact pretty good at dealing with his own emotional issues. This of course makes it fairly ironic that he's basically blind when it comes to a lot of other people's emotions. He's not very good at gauging people's emotions and will not be able to tell how someone is feeling unless they actually tell him. He's unlikely to understand how anyone else is feeling unless they spell it out very clearly. Which is why most of his friends are bold people who have no problem telling him how they feel and even less issues setting up limits and such.
Faust enjoys a good time, but at the same time he's fairly good at being responsible. He knows one can't enjoy oneself if you don't take care of business. There are just some things you have to do like make money so that you have a roof over your head and food to eat. He however just goes to a little effort to make sure all his responsbilities are things that he can make enjoyable. Like his job while he is sure plenty of people would disapprove it puts food on the table and he enjoys it while making other people happy. Even housework and other chores he does them dutifully, but just expends a little more effort to make them enjoyable. He doesn't have much patience for people that don't take care of business as they make people who enjoy themselves look bad. Fun doesn't mean lazy in fact more often than not it means you work harder than most people.
the school life
school attended ; Hogwarts
former house ; Hufflepuff
favourite subject ; Without a doubt Divination was Faust favorite subject. More often than not he was just making stuff up, but he found the whole thing enjoyable and it felt sort of like art since you were crafting a future the professor would beleive.
worst subject ; History of Magic was a class Faust always dreaded. He knows it's important to learn the history of your people and such, but it was so boring it was hard to make oneself care.

history ; If one asked Faust he was born on a cold stormy day in the midst of a blizzard, but given that he was born in August one can begin to question his honesty. Faust would in fact be born on a perfectly ordinary day to two very pleased parents. Faust would quickly grow to happy young who was adored and rather spoiled by his parents. He would prove to be a bit of a handful, but was generally pretty easy to handle. He was also at a very young age a rather affectionate young boy prone to hug just about anyone even strangers. His parents had to be more than a bit careful as Faust would think absoutely nothing about wandering off with a stranger. As he never really beleived in the word stranger as a stranger was just a friend he hadn't made yet.
He would have a mostly peaceful childhood that he enjoyed except the trips to his Aunt's house. She was a real harpy that Faust was sure hated him. His grandmother was very much the same way so as long as he wasn't visiting family he was a happy boy. Unsurprisingly he got his Hogwarts letter at the age of eleven. He'd actually be pretty excited about this as the idea of a whole castle full of people to meet would tickle him pink. So after a trip to Diagon Alley and a train ride Faust would hit Hogwarts and barely look back. He never once got home sick and quickly made himself at home as if he had lived at Hogwarts his whole life.
He wouldn't necessarily love all his classes, but he would enjoy almost every moment in Hogwarts. Faust would be fourteen when he'd realize that he wasn't quite straight. At first he would try to only like girls which was easy since girls we so pretty and so soft to kiss. However eventually he couldn't deny the attraction he also felt when it came to boys. Faust would try to hide this fact. He didn't want to disappoint his parents and he really didn't think they'd understand. He'd manage to hide his feelings until the summer of his sixth year. Over the summer he'd meet a boy from France named Sebastian who was probably the prettiest boy Faust had ever seen. He'd meet Sebastian at his Aunt's house during their usual summer meet up as the boy would be staying at the Manor next to his Aunt's.
At first Faust would try to ignore the ridicilously pretty Sebastian. At least he did until the boy kissed him and then there was no stopping it. They'd steal kisses from each other for most of the week and unfortunately just before the week was over Faust's aunt would catch the two kissing. Of course this wouldn't go over well with his aunt. Who immediately bnish Sebastian and drag Faust into the house by his ear to tell his parents. Of course she was very angry and demand they beat the abomination out of him. Faust would be terrfied and more than a little bit ashamed. He was sure his parents would combust into balls of fury once they realized that Faust wasn't going to be their perfect little pureblood prince.
His mother very much suprised him when she walked up and slapped the hell out of his aunt and told her to let her son go. Faust was quite shocked as she ripped into the woman calling her a hateful old bitty and she her and father took faust and went and packed their things and left immediately. This would be the last time Faust would see that side of his family and it wouldn't be long before his Aunt wrote to inform him and his family that they were disowned and no longer part of the true Carmona family. Faust felt terribly guilty about this and it would eat at him even as he returned to his. The beginning of his sixth year didn't go well at all. He became quite anti-social and would talk to no one. Of course his parents wouldn't realize anything was wrong until he returned home for the winter break.
The moment he returned home his parents could see that Faust was having serious issues. It took them quite some time to get him to talk about how he was feeling. Once Faust explained how bad he felt his mother started laughing at him. At first Faust was devestated that his mother could laugh at him over something so serious, but eventually she'd explain that he had done nothing wrong and that she loved him and being disowned from the family was the fault of a bigoted and hateful group of people that she'd really rather have nothing to do with in the first place. After that Faust stopped trying to be someone he wasn't and embraced the inner diva in him. He would never regret this decision as his mother would encourage him and his father would just shake his head and smile at his son's antics.
The last half and his sixth year and his full seventh year would mark a change in his life. He'd return to school an entire knew person and make all new friends and act almost as if the old Faust had never existed. He was who he was and whoever didn't like it well they could
